Where opt-in happens

Customers opt in on the public scan setup page at https://www.drivetestwatch.com/start, on the step labeled “4. Alerts”. Providing a phone number is optional. To receive SMS alerts, the customer must enter a mobile number and affirmatively select a separate, unchecked consent checkbox. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

“By checking this box, I agree to receive automated transactional DMV appointment availability alerts from DriveTestWatch at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

What customers receive

Messages are transactional alerts only: confirmation that a scan is active and notifications when a scheduled check finds a California DMV behind-the-wheel appointment opening matching the offices, dates, and times the customer selected. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies with appointment availability and the customer’s scan settings. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

Customers can revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. We record the consent timestamp and send SMS only when both a valid mobile number and affirmative consent are present. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
