Privacy Policy

DriveTestWatch is operated by Curbly Labs LLC. This document outlines how we collect, store, and process your personal data in connection with our appointment monitoring service for California DMV behind-the-wheel drive-test openings.
1. Data we collect
We only collect the minimum required information to provide behind-the-wheel appointment scanning alerts: your email address, your optional mobile phone number, and your DMV search criteria (the offices and date window you want monitored). You may choose whether to provide a mobile number and opt in to SMS alerts.
2. No DMV credentials stored
We never store or request your DMV login credentials. DriveTestWatch only reads publicly available appointment availability. All notifications are strictly outgoing advisories, and your DMV account is never accessed or modified.
3. SMS appointment alerts
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we use it to send transactional alerts about appointment openings related to your active DriveTestWatch scan. Message frequency varies based on appointment availability and your scan settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS alerts, or reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from receiving alerts by other methods you selected.
4. How we share data
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We receive only the billing status needed to activate your scan.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use this website — for example, whether traffic arrives from search engines or social media. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visits. We have configured it for measurement only: Google Signals and ads personalization are disabled, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.
You can opt out of analytics in two ways. We automatically honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal — if your browser sends it, analytics never loads for you. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Separately, we keep first-party session measurements (stored in your browser's sessionStorage, cleared when the tab closes) to understand which campaigns lead to purchases; these contain no personal information and involve no cross-site tracking.
7. Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
